The New Patriotic Party’s running mate has declared as Dr. Dominic DeGraft Arthur, Senior, a lecturer in the history and political studies department at Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology.
Dr. DeGraft stated on the NTAAFOOHENE-hosted EFA WOHO MORNING SHOW that if Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh is indeed selected to be Alhaji Mahamudu Bawumia’s running partner, then it’s a positive move. Taking into account the primary election-related elements in Ghana, tribe, region, ethnicity, and religion are all considered, and if selected, NAPO is eligible to assist the New Patriotic Party and Dr. Bawumia in breaking the eight (8).
Since he was appointed, Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh has excelled in every role, particularly as the Minister of Education. He has also gained support from the party’s grassroots members. Not to be overlooked, he is a Royal in the Ashanti Region, which serves as the New Patriotic Party’s global voting and electoral bank. Among all the names that came out before, he is likewise that popular.
