Ayivor Elikplim, the accused, was arraigned by the Ghana Police Service on June 26, 2024. Elikplim was detained on Tuesday, June 25, 2024, on suspicion of beating a female coworker at a financial institution in Nkawkaw.
He entered a guilty plea to the accusation against him, was found guilty based on that plea, and was placed in police custody with an adjudication date of June 28, 2024.
The Nkawkaw District Court saw Ayivor Elikplim today, but the sentencing has been postponed until Tuesday, July 2, 2024.
