Lois Abena Koranteng, a Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) graduate in Petroleum Engineering, met a horrific end while on a business trip to the Western Region with her supervisor.
On Friday, June 7, 2024, Lois, her employer, and their driver left for Takoradi and made their way to a motel. The next morning, hotel employees found Lois’s body, just her bra and knickers, floating in the hotel’s pool. She was taken to the hospital immediately, but upon arrival, they declared her dead.
The police started looking into Lois’s family a month ago, but they haven’t found anything, so her family is upset and seeking justice.
The hotel has not supplied any CCTV video, citing that the cameras were not in action that evening. They have voiced their displeasure with the establishment’s lack of cooperation.
