Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, the flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), has reaffirmed his commitment to tackling Ghana’s youth unemployment crisis.

During a rally in Kpando in the Volta Region, Bawumia reiterated his ambitious plan to create one million jobs if elected as Ghana’s next president.

His strategy focuses on equipping the nation’s youth with essential digital skills, enabling them to compete in the global economy, regardless of their educational backgrounds.

Bawumia emphasized that addressing youth unemployment remains his top priority, noting that empowering young people with the tools and knowledge to access the growing digital economy is key to solving Ghana’s unemployment challenge.

“All the youth, we need jobs. I am going to give one million youths digital skills in Ghana. Everybody, even if you are a school dropout, we can give you digital skills.

“You will stay in Kpando and work in America, in Germany, in Japan, in the UK, and in the US. Work right from here with your digital skills.”
