Kwesi Pratt Jnr. has asked President John Dramani Mahama to publicly address the current acts of intimidation and hooliganism by some youth in the country.
Mr. Pratt, tackling the misbehavior of some NDC supporters across the nation, noted it is about time the President spoke on the issue by letting his followers know he is not “President of a party but the entire nation”.
He admonished the citizens, particularly members and supporters of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), to also note that not every person who voted for H.E. John Mahama happened to be a member of the party.
He appealed to the President to stamp his feet on the ground stressing “President Mahama, himself, must tell his supporters that the oath of office I swore…says I stand for all Ghanaians”.
“He must come out to say this because if he fails to say this, this disturbing behavior will affect him and everyone.”
Mr. Pratt’s comments come on the heels of the AngloGold Ashanti shooting incident resulting in the death of about eight persons and others sustaining serious gunshot wounds.
He spoke on “Kokrokoo” panel discussion show aired on Peace FM.
