A traffic accident at Kade wounded seven firemen.

On the Eastern Region’s Otwenkwanta, a fire tender from the Kade Fire Station (FS 438) was engaged in an accident.
While the firemen were attending to an emergency, the occurrence took place.


The incident resulted in injuries to seven crew members.
Two of them are very ill in the Kade Government Hospital, while five of them are presently receiving care at Akwatia St. Dominic’s Hospital.

Luckily, one crew member managed to escape unharmed.
The accident’s cause is being looked into.
The injured firemen and their families were in the thoughts and prayers of the Ghana National Fire Service (GNFS).

The Service wished them a fast recovery and praised their bravery.
The GNFS is still dedicated to providing public service, guaranteeing the security, and welfare of its employees are still top priorities for the GNFS.
