Bawumia would start his second leg of the countrywide visit by asking Nayiri for blessings.

On this day, July 10, 2024, flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, will visit Nayiri’s Palace in Nalerigu, in the North East region, to kick off the second leg of his countrywide campaign ahead of the general elections in December.

Before visiting the North East Region, he would ask the King of Mamprugu for his blessings.

Sulley Sambian, the New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) regional secretary for the North East, has announced that the vice president will spend two days in the region, holding rallies and meeting with different organisations.

“The Vice President’s visit to the Northeast Region will start the second leg of his countrywide campaign tour. As a native of the North East, the Vice President and his campaign staff decided it would be prudent to return home and ask his father, the Nayiri, for blessings before starting their nationwide campaign trip, according to a statement signed by Sulley Sambian.

Today, July 10, 2024, the Vice President will be visiting the constituencies of Nalerigu/Gambaga, Yunyoo, and Bunkpurugu as part of his two-day campaign visit to the area.

“Thereafter, the team will travel through the Bunkpurugu constituency to the Chereponi constituency on Thursday, July 11, 2024.” The declaration went on,
