C/R: Day6 of limited voters registration, Jane Naana urges EC to add more days.

Presidential running mate for National Democratic Congress, NDC Pro. Jane Naana Opoku Agyemang has visited some voter registration centres in Awutu Senya East and Awutu Senya West to acquaint herself with the challenges, and to interact with registrants.

The former minister of education began her tour from Awutu Senya East, where she visited Ofankor Jei river EC office and interact with the EC officials and registrants at the center.

From there, she moved to Awutu Senya West to also engaged with the people at the center.

Opoku Agyemang, the first female running mate in the history of Ghana’s Politics explained to the registrants the importance of getting their voters identification cards and the impact it could have on their lives in the current democratic dispensation.

Also, she urged EC to consider the challenges the registrants are going through in the registration process and add some days to the time given.

However, Awutu Senya East NDC parliamentary candidate, Hon. Phillis Naa Koryoo said, the youths should desist from any Political violence instigated by any politician in Awutu Senya East.

Also, she said the people of Awutu Senya East especially the youths should express their grievances in the upcoming Elections by voting against NPP.
