The National Democratic Congress’s (NDC) Campaign Director, Professor Joshua Alabi, has stressed that the public would not be persuaded by the governing New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) dishonest methods.

In the general elections of 2024, he expressed confidence that Ghanaians will recognise the NPP’s attempts to deceive them and support the NDC.

“The people are wide awake and have seen the truth,” said Prof. Alabi on Saturday, July 27, during the NDC’s 2024 campaign launch in Tamale.

NDC manifesto committee member Elvis Afriyie Ankrah presented a daring plan for the party’s performance in the Northern Region, hoping to win 14 of 18 seats.

He pointed out that although the NDC’s strength is in the Volta Region, the Northern Region is what gives the party its vitality.

He declared, “Every single sector of the economy is in a mess,” in an attack on the Akufo-Addo administration’s economic ineptitude.

He thinks that because Ghanaians are aware of the government’s shortcomings, they would be forced to vote for the NDC.
