Election 2024: NDC to officially launch Campaign in Tamale today

On Saturday, July 27, in Tamale, the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) is set to begin its campaign for the 2024 General Elections.

John Dramani Mahama, the party’s flagbearer, will be present at the ceremony, along with Prof. Jane Naana Opoku Agyemang, his running partner. Other notable figures attending include members of the Council of Elders, National Chairman Johnson Asiedu Nketia, and General Secretary Fifi Fiavi Kwetey.

It is anticipated that parliamentary candidates, supporters, and NDC members of parliament would also be present.

According to Johnson Asiedu Nketia, National Chairman, the party would use a fresh approach to campaign this year.

The NDC will also present its platform, which will include important proposals like eliminating ex-gratia, implementing a 24-hour economy, and exporting nurses to combat unemployment among healthcare professionals.

John Dramani Mahama, the flagbearer, has voiced optimism about the manifesto’s ability to spur socioeconomic growth.
