The 78-year-old father of Ghanaian artist and preacher Lord Kenya has confirmed his father’s demise.
He stated that the funeral service will begin at eight in the morning on Wednesday, August 7, 2024, at his Apemso home, which is near to Apemso Pentecost Church.
The burial is planned to take place privately at Sanzule, Nzema on Thursday, August 8, 2024.
Hero’s Park, Kumasi Sports Stadium, will host the last funeral ceremonies on Saturday, August 10, 2024, from 12 PM to 6 PM.
On Sunday, August 10, 2024, in Face of Grace Covenant Temple, near Ahodwo Melcom in Kumasi, there will be a mass of gratitude.
Finally, on Sunday, August 11, 2024, a family get-together will take place at his Apemso home.
During these rituals, Lord Kenya and his family are inviting everyone of their friends and supporters to join them in celebrating Nana Akpor Kainya’s life and legacy.
