Elvis Afriyie Ankrah, a member of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) manifesto committee, has chastised President Akufo-Addo for his mishandling of the economy.
He declared that the government’s mishandling of the economy will cause the NDC to win the elections.
Speaking to the media on the sidelines of the NDC’s campaign kickoff on Saturday, July 27, in Tamale, he stated, “People have seen the abysmal performance every single sector of the economy is in a mess so the people have through.”
The goal of the NDC, according to the former Minister of Youth and Sports, is to take 14 of the 18 seats in the Northern Region.
He clarified that while the NDC’s base is the Volta area, the party’s vitality is derived from the northern area.
“Our plan is to secure 14 of the 18 available seats in 2024,” he stated.
