The minority filed notice that we are not prepared to accept the finance minister for the mid-year budget.

Before the finance minister is permitted to propose the mid-year budget in July, the minority leader, Hon. Governce Kwame Agbodza, has instructed the leadership of the majority party, Hon. Alexander Afenyo Markin, to ensure that all internal concerns are resolved.

Following the majority chief whip, Hon. Frank Annor Dompreh, presenting the house with the agenda for the next week ending on July 5, he made this declaration on the floor of Parliament.

In the meanwhile, Hon. Alexander Afenyo Markin said that the majority side of the house has appointed a new spokeswoman on the economy in response to the minority’s notification.
