Tears-flooding report indicates that, Five (5) people including A year old Toddler have been shot at Danso, a community in the Bosome Freho District of the Ashanti Region.
Confirming the tragic report to preciousmedia.org, A resident of the community identified as Frimpong says the clashed ensued between the Youth of the Community and some alleged Chinese Galamseyers Saturday 6th July,2024 following the arrest of about 15 Commuters yesterday around 11pm.
According to Frimpong, some Armed Police Cum Military officers stormed the Community on Friday night around 11pm to arrest some 15 persons who have been accused of Gold theft by these Alleged Chinese Galamseyers.
It will be recalled that, The member of Parliament for Bosome Freho, Akwasi Darko Boateng in November 2023 together with the Deputy Lands Minister, Mireku Duka Successfully Launched the *Bosome Freho Community Mining* having the Government’s Full support of the Launch aiming at Decent and responsible mining in the District.
The Community claims after a Successful Unveiling of the Community Mining, the Legal process of Mining has been circumvented by the Chinese, allegedly turning it into Galamsey as all the River bodies are turned into Muds due to the Highlighted illegalities.
The irate youth group in attempt to revenge the Chinese after the News of the Arrested Fifteen people broke the community this morning escalated into Gun Shots by the Guards of the alleged GALAMSEY Site.
Four adults during the scuffle sustained Gun Shots whilst A year Toddler who at the time Wrapped at the back of the mother Chopped stray bullets in the Head.
Currently, the injured are battling for life on Hospital admissions whilst the Men in the Community have Vamoose the town for safety.
Gyaasehene of Danso traditional Council, Nana Kwabena Kusi during the interrogation by preciousmedia.org added that, the toddler is his Granddaughter.

In his revelations, he said surge in Galamsey activities in the Town contributed to the scuffle, leading to the unfortunate report.
When asked about the intervention of the Chief of the Community Nana Opoku Kyei, Gyaasehene asserted that, the Scuffle Caged the Chief indoors because the Protesting Youth Nearly set his ( Chief) residence ablaze this morning, accusing him of masterminding the illegal mining.
