Osman Ayariga, the National Democratic Congress’s (NDC) Deputy National Youth Organiser, has said that he will stage a demonstration at the White House about the contentious ambulance sale.

Mr. Ayariga attacked the agreement, calling it evidence of corruption and an abuse of the nation’s little resources.

He made it clear that the NDC would not put up with what he saw to be poor management, and that he would organise a protest of jobless Ghanaians that would end at the Jubilee House and the daughter of President Akufo-Addo’s office.

Mr. Ayariga voiced his displeasure with the present administration’s handling of the agreement in a media interview on Tuesday, calling it extremely concerning.

He declared that it is concerning and intolerable that there is corruption in the administration.

Mr. Ayariga claims that the youth of the NDC are resolved to hold the administration responsible for what they see as financial misdeeds and corruption.

The rally seeks to demand openness and raise awareness of the problem.

In his closing remarks, Mr. Ayariga urged the government to take the NDC’s concerns seriously and to halt actions that, in his opinion, are harmful to the future of the nation.

“Aside from the President’s daughter and her allies, who else is profiting from bloated and inflated contracts these days?” refers to the question. According to a recent report by the Auditor-General, there was an additional procurement of 307 ambulances, which resulted in a bloated contract worth $30 million. Meanwhile, 1.9 million unemployed youth reside on Accra’s streets, and soon, we will begin to occupy all locations, including President Akufo-Addo’s office at Jubilee House.
