Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, the flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), has committed to working closely with Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh, his running partner, to provide the people of Ghana audacious alternatives.
Dr. Opoku Prempeh, the departing Energy Minister, is viewed by Dr. Bawumia as the ideal partner to help him win the election on December 7 and to work towards bettering the living standards of Ghanaians.
In front of a sizable gathering on Tuesday, July 9, during the Energy Minister’s introduction in Kumasi, Dr. Bawumia remarked, “NAPO is knowledgeable; I have worked with him for the last 16 years.” I know I can work with him because I have a lot of respect for him and he is a generational thinker and problem solver.
We have a similar objective, therefore I think we’ll work well together to provide innovative solutions to the Ghanaian people. I thus have complete faith in Dr. Matthew Opoku Premeph.
