The event took place in the Ahafo Ano South West District of the Ashanti Region in Mpasaaso-Manhyia.
Journalist Kwabena Wireko, also known as Unofficial Lawyer, who related the story to Preciousmedia.org, said the dead guy was in his 30s.
According to the account, the dead man challenged the fetish priest to a gunfight in order to demonstrate to him that he (the now deceased) possessed a potent bulletproof charm from Benin.
Following his boastful remarks and excessive chatter, the priest pulled out a revolver and shot the man three times, instantly killing him.
The body has been sent to the mortuary for preservation, and the local police have detained the fetish priest.
