The New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) vice presidential candidate, Fiifi Boafo, stated through his spokesman that his boss has taken Asantehene Otumfuo Osei Tutu II’s advise at his unveiling at Manhyia in good faith.

He claims that Dr. Opoku Prempeh, also referred to as NAPO, is prepared to follow his father’s example on this new adventure.

According to Mr. Boafo, “He has taken the advice in good faith and will work to ensure it guides his actions.”

When NAPO was introduced as the running mate, Asantehene Otumfuo Osei Tutu II gave him advice on how to show Ghanaians that he is not conceited.

Otumfuo emphasised, “I have watched NAPO grow up and have never known him to be arrogant.”

Responding to this on Wednesday’s Dwaso Nsem morning show on Adom FM, Mr. Boafo stated that those who are familiar with NAPO well know that he is not conceited.

There’s a chance that those criticising him have political agendas. Soon, people will discover his true identity. Ghanaians are aware that he does tasks assigned to him expertly,” he remarked.

Mr. Boafo restated that NAPO has accepted the counsel and acknowledged its significance for his path.

“It’s beneficial to give him advice, since all people require direction,” he continued.
